Procedure for deleting your account and data
⚠️ Irreversible action
Deleting your account is permanent. Once confirmed, your data is scheduled for deletion and cannot be recovered.
Method 1 — From the GP360 App
Follow these steps directly in the GP360 mobile app to delete your account.
Open the app and sign in
Make sure you are signed in with the account you want to delete.
Go to your profile
Tap the profile icon at the bottom of the screen (the "Profile" or "My Account" tab).
Open Settings
Tap the settings icon (gear) on your profile page.
Select "Delete my account"
In the "Account" section of settings, tap "Delete my account". This option is typically at the bottom of the settings list.
Confirm your decision
A confirmation dialog appears. Enter your password to confirm the deletion, then tap "Confirm deletion".
Confirmation received
You will receive a confirmation email at your registered address. The effective deletion of your data will be completed within 30 days.
Method 2 — By Email (if app access is not possible)
If you cannot access the app
Send an account deletion request by email to support@gp360.ca with the following information:

Hello,
I would like to delete my GP360 account and all associated personal data.
Account email address: [your email address]
Full name: [your full name]
I confirm that this request is voluntary and that I understand this action is irreversible.
Sincerely
We will process your request within 5 business days and send you a confirmation by email.
Data Deleted Upon Account Deletion
When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently erased:
- User profile: full name, email address, password (hashed).
- Participation history: all your past participations in shipping events.
- Geolocation data: all geographic positions recorded for package tracking.
- Created events: shipping events you have created (if not yet in progress).
- Collaboration data: your collaboration relationships with businesses.
- Authentication tokens: all active JWT tokens are immediately revoked.
- Preferences and settings: all your app preferences.
Data retained for legal obligations
In accordance with Canadian legal obligations (taxation, accounting), certain anonymized billing data may be retained for a period of 7 years. This data is dissociated from your identity and does not allow you to be identified.
Processing Time
The deletion request is initiated immediately upon confirmation. Complete deletion of your data is guaranteed within a maximum of 30 days from the request.
You will receive a confirmation email when the deletion is complete. If you have ongoing shipments at the time of the request, we will contact you to coordinate the closure.
